 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress as well as a comedian and activist. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career when she was a young girl, soon after her move to the United States. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (from). Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she appeared in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot television series for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. At five years of age she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out in her sophomore year. She later obtained an GED and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
